Announcing a new film project by Katharina Stieffenhofer!
“From Seed to Seed” is a feature-length documentary about modern agriculture, a blend of small and large scale farmers, cutting edge science with age old traditions, and fascinating folks. You will meet farmers who are also opera singers, young “wannabe” farmers trying to find their way in the new realities, Manitoba’s own amazing scientist, Dr. Martin Entz, who leads the world in his work - The Natural Systems Agriculture program and more. Meet our participants.
We invite you to follow along with our journey. Filming since February 2016, and right through to the seeds going into the ground in spring 2017, experience this beautiful and sometimes harsh world of those who grow our food.
Here is our fund raising video of 6 minutes, and though we will be creating the short preview later, see and hear the people, animals and landscape in our full length trailer.
And join us on our website “From Seed to Seed”
and Facebook Page with regular updates by the Director and Producer Katharina
“And This Is My Garden is not just about one school’s gardening project, it’s about breaking new ground in education, and it has the power to change the way we live.”
- Director Katharina Stieffenhofer.
This DVD is now available through the Winnipeg Film Group
